Created by London native Deborah, who has clocked up many years in the fashion industry whether it be via Styling video shoots in NY, Styling fashion shows in London or owning and running a women's wear boutique in Clapham, South London for over fourteen years. This is the next chapter in the M&QStudio journey.
 

I've always designed clothing. I started more seriously when I had the boutique and clients were asking for items and looks I wasn't seeing at the agencies or shows when I was buying.
 

I moved to Southern Spain which then gave me time and freedom to create and identify myself and the brand. Essentially the label is my journey. As a young creative Londoner clubbing and hanging out in the 80's and 90's to being a working Mother who still loves her look to reflect her personality and her wardrobe to be chic with a little twist. This is the essence of the Collection.
 

Spending most of my time between London, Spain, Morocco and Italy, The Collection has elements of these places, people and music. Although London is and will always be my home and the place where I draw most inspiration, I'm a huge street culture investigator. I never cease to learn, I love my Sons sending me video shorts of new artists, whether that's a Music, painter or actor. People watching is a favorite pastime too. Everywhere in the world hosts a Catwalk. Albeit a downtown market in Marrakesh or a Public meeting square in Colombia. One can always find characters with personalities that inspire.
 

Paying close attention to fabric choice, quality and mindful manufacturing execution. Using artisanal seamstresses and small UK Ateliers we have created a label that employs women and Men in this industry. pays a fair wage and considers their wellbeing. All our fabrics are repurposed after initial use. Nothing is wasted!!
